Universities and granting agencies around the world are under increasing pressure to demonstrate the social, economic and cultural benefits of public investments in social sciences and humanities research. An expert panel (Dr. Claire Donovan, The Australian National University; Dr. Chris Coryn, Western Michigan University; and Dr. Éric Archambault, Science-Metrix) will discuss the challenge of how to capture and articulate the full range of these benefits, and present initiatives currently underway in Canada and abroad.
